WE ARE IN ITALIAAAAA
castiglion fiorentino, to be exact.
it's the cutest little town on a hill, it's like straight out of a movie or something
and it is LITERALLY the most BEAUTIFUL place on earth

my new home for the next 3 months, can you believe it??

these pictures do not do this place justice at all, and i can't think of words to describe it in all its glory either.
soooo..basically the beaut cannot be described. you all just have to visit.
i'll try to take better pictures, but i still have some time, so this will have to do for now

me on my first day of school!

there are so many EXTREMELY steep "streets" (more like very narrow alleys where cars and mopeds almost run us over)
my legs are going to be toned after a semester of navigating these streets.

this street is called "via repente", it's the steepest street in the town
gotta be real sinful to take this street... it is not an easy trek

we had lunch at Roggi's, a restaurant nearby (everything's nearby!)
had our first italian wine. it was delicious. and strong. (it made my ears very warm)

everybody! and one of our teachers. and one a&m student snuck right in there.
and there i am, teeny tiny in the back squashed between two people

cheers! to 3 whole months in the most beautiful place on earth!
